 Terrace is a town for all seasons. Surrounded by snow capped mountains, fish-bearing rivers, streams, and lakes, there's something for everyone. Spring and summer activities include fishing, swimming, boating, water sports, hiking, or mountain biking. Fall is hunting season. When winter comes, Shames Mountain, an one hour drive from the property, is the place to be. Shames is one of the best kept secrets for downhill skiing or snowboarding because it often gets powder snowfalls well over a
meter deep at a time. The city of Terrace also has organized men and women's leagues of soccer and baseball. Downtown has a shopping mall, fine dining, swimming pool, ice skating rink, tennis courts, and a host of local businesses to serve you. Terrace and area has a population of
approximately 20,000 people.
